Great American Trucking Show Registration Opened

It's that time of year again. The 20th anniversary of the Great American Trucking Show is on the horizon, registration having already opened online.

Covered by Truckers News, this year's Great American Trucking Show kicks off soon. Held at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas from August 22 to 24, you'll be able to enjoy tons of different attractions and delicious food as you meet with different industry people and fellow truckers and truck enthusiasts.

The show has a wide variety of events scheduled over the three day event, ranging from Overdrive's Pride & Polish truck show where the best semis on the road get a thorough cleaning and dressing before being presented to the truck displays for miniatures and rat rods. These are just two examples from the over 500 exhibits featured at this year's show, though, so there's no telling what kind of surprises might be in store for attendees.

It's not all about the trucks, though. Drivers are just as important and deserve their own recognition, like the Trucking's Top Rookie award designed to recognize the most talented up and comers on the roads today. You can also swing by the Recruiting Pavilion to get in contact with some of the industry's most experienced fleet recruiters if you're on the hunt for new jobs. There's also the Landstar Health and Wellness Pavilion where truckers can undergo a number of health checkups from eye exams, medical consultations, mammograms, and more with financial aid options for those without insurance or who can't afford to pay.

The Great American Trucking Show will be here before you know it, so don't wait on registering. To stay up to date about the goings on with the show and other news within the world of trucking, stay tuned to Michigan Truck Sales & Equipment to keep informed.
