Over-the-Road Urgent Care for Truck Drivers

MTE Sharing the News about UrgentCare Travel

At Michigan Truck Sales & Equipment (MTE), we are committed to giving our customers and their drivers the best in sales, parts, and service to keep their businesses moving. While many businesses, like ours, are committed to the trucking industry, some of the Pilot Flying J Travel Centers are making a commitment to help our truck drivers with urgent care along the highways. UrgentCare Travel Medical Clinic For Truck Drivers is now opened in 13 locations with a total of 16 to be opened by the end of 2018. From 2019 through 2021, there are reportedly 24 additional locations to open.

UrgentCare Travel is a Welcomed Service Across the U.S.

With the UrgentCare Travel Medical Clinics set up at the Pilot Flying J truck stops, drivers have the convenience of accessible parking. They can be better monitored for diabetes, high blood pressure and more. Drivers are able to get their mandatory DOT examination. For minor, work-related injuries that occur along the road, drivers don't have to wait until they reach their destination or home. A truck driver can join the network as an individual or set up a family plan. No appointments are necessary, and there is no co-pay.

Michigan Urgent Care and Occupational Health Network

From the information provided, there is no UrgentCare Travel noted to be built in Michigan. Within our state, the Michigan Urgent Care "is a leading occupational health service provider." Truck drivers can get their DOT medical exams without making an appointment.
